Welcome to Ryder Henry's website!
Ryder Henry is a Pittsburgh-based painter and sculptor, most well known for his intricate, futuristic model city, 4 Lydia, made from recycled materials.

Ryder’s background is varied and his artwork reflects that. Ryder grew up in Austin, Texas; Beverly Hills, California; Ann Arbor, Michigan; Paris, France; Beirut, Lebanon; and Limassol, Republic of Cyprus. He attended the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence RI.

Ryder currently lives in Pittsburgh with his wife Maya and son Desmond, in a big old Victorian house where 4 Lydia can have its own room.


The 4 Lydia model city is available for limited exhibition in its entirety, Ryder’s paintings, spaceship sculptures, and smaller floating models are available for group or solo shows. Ryder also enjoys creating site-specific installations.

Ryder’s murals and models are both available by commission. Ryder has made several scale models of people’s homes.
